Full Job Description

A Farming operations on the outskirts of Millicent requires a General Farm Hand Temp/ Feedlot Assistant. Position is Casual for approximately a 4 to 6 week period

Duties will include:
To assist in the general farming operations
Husbandry of all livestock
Operation of heavy equipment and materials handling equipment
Undertake housekeeping of workplace and surrounds
Maintain high standard of ration mixing and delivery to livestock

Requirements:
A current Drivers licence is required for this position
HR licence is desirable
Hold current First Aid Certificate
Physically fit and capable
Previous experience in the agricultural industry
Demonstrated sound animal husbandry skills
Mechanical aptitude
Adhere to and cultivate a working environment based on safe work practices
Experience in operating farm equipment
Keen eye for detail
The ability to work within a team and alone
