The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Field Technicians on a permanent basis based in Mosgiel and Central Otago.

As a Field Technician you will be exposed to a role with extreme variety.

You will be joining a team that delivers animal health services, market access certification, environmental monitoring, live animal export certification and disease control to the agricultural industry.

The role involves providing audits, assessments and guidance for assurance programmes, taking charge of on farm services in relation to animal health and wellbeing and any other associated tasks that go with the territory.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have good stock sense, great communication, and strong relationship building skills,

You are super organised, a team player and can effectively build lasting relationships

TB testing experience is essential and auditing and compliance experience would be an advantage. You don't need a tertiary qualification, but you will have worked on a dairy or other farm and be experienced in handling large farm animals. Full training will be provided to undertake TB testing cattle & deer in the Otago Area.

You must have a clean and current driver's licence and the motivation to work unsupervised yet contribute to our team environment.
