Full Job Description
An essential part of this role is to be able to carry out physically demanding duties, demonstrate good communication and time management skills; possession of a positive work attitude and the ability to follow specified work schedules.

The roster for this role includes a variety of shifts including weekdays, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Key Selection Criteria

Previous fast paced cleaning experience in a healthcare environment (highly desirable)
Ability to work a rotating roster including weekdays, nights, weekends and public holidays (essential)
Proven ability to safely operate cleaning equipment whilst using appropriate manual handling techniques
Demonstrated capacity to undertake the physical capacity of the role
Sound working knowledge of various commercial cleaning chemicals and equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate PPE and their application for use

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements

It is a condition of employment for this role that you are vaccinated, and remain vaccinated during your employment, against the following vaccine preventable diseases; Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping cough), and Hepatitis.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to provide evidence of immunity to Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs). Staff employed prior to 1 July 2017 are not subject to this condition of employment unless they apply for a role with VPD requirements.
