In this role

Your main purpose will be:

• Carryout Cellar Operations
• Ensure quality wine production under the supervision of the Cellar Manager / Supervisor

Key accountabilities include

• Follow direction as provided by Cellar Manager / Supervisor
• Carry out all tasks assigned once trained and competent
• Assist and maintain general winery cleanliness and hygiene
• Ensure that cellar operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner adhering to company policies and procedures
• Wear required personal protection equipment where required
• Attend training as required by Accolade Wines
• Log all relevant data into log sheets and operation notes as required

Other accountabilities include

• Other tasks as reasonable requested

Essential knowledge and skills are

Previous experience working in a team environment

Required experience is

• Completion of training modules up to a Grade 3 Cellar Hand
• Previous experience in carrying out Cellar Operations duties in a similar environment

Essential qualifications are

Physical and other requirements

• Ability to work shift work
• Manual Handling
• Work in the outdoors
